Christmas Time...
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and it getting ready for 2012! I am sooooo ready for the new year! Christmas Eve we went to a little Christmas party at our friend's house. It was a Feliz Navidad party and was a lot of fun! Rylie enjoyed playing with baby Caden while we were there. We had a wonderful little family Christmas, and then dinner with some of our friends from here! Rylie had so much fun opening her presents, and got lots of toys and Minnie Mouse stuff! She got a trike, ball pit, some mega blocks, a potty, a dollhouse, and anything little Minnie thing we could find. :) It turned out to be a great day and I can't wait until next year!
18 Months!
Yesterday my beautiful baby girl turned 18 months old and I seriously cannot believe it! Time Flies! I feel like it was just yesterday I was in the hospital having her, the past 18 months of my life have seriously been the most amazing and I am so blessed to have her has my daughter. We went to her 18 month well baby check up today and she got 5, yes i said FIVES shots. My poor baby did not appreciate that at all. But other then that she is doing great. She is 26lbs. 14oz., 32in long, and her head is 49.5cm in diameter. Now it's my time to brag about my wonderful 18 month old.
At 18 Months Old Rylie can.....
Say 30-40 Words & is picking up new ones everyday.
Put words together like, "All Done" "Watch Minnie" "Yes Please" "Minnie Shoes" "Milk Cup" and more.
Eat with a fork.
Help put her toys away.
Tell us when she goes poopoo and brings us the diaper and wipes.
She attempt to out her shoes on.
She loves to "read" books, and be read to.
She really is the most wonderful, smart, beautiful little girl ever and I couldn't ask for anything more! I enjoy everyday I get to spend with her. :)

Life
So I haven't been very good about keeping this up, but I've been super busy! Not only do I have my 18 month old, school, and my normal wife/mom stuff, & I am also babysitting another 18 month little girl! Things are soooo crazy around the house with 2! Now that I'm on "Winter Break" from school I have some time to write. : )
Other then babysitting and all that fun stuff we haven't been up to much, we are getting ready for Christmas and trying to make the best out of things this year. Michael has to work on Christmas which I was super upset about at first, but I'm used to it now. It really sucks, he was in Korea last year and has to work this year. That's the military for ya though, they don't really care. We have all of our shopping for Rylie done, it was really fun this year. It was fun to know she will be excited about everything we got her, especially since most of it is Minnie Mouse, her first favorite character. So cute! There is all this adorable Minnie stuff on etsy, I wish I could buy it all! I also wish I has the talent to make the stuff my stuff. Dare to dream right?
One thing I am been really slacking on since we moved is pictures or Rylie and/or our family. It is just so impossible to get a good picture of my child who is ALWAYS moving! So I guess that is my new goal, to take more pictures or us and our life in Fort Polk. Well, not much more to say! Maybe next time it will be more interesting. :)

Life..
So I've decided to write an actual post about how I am feeling with life right now! So first off, I HATE Fort Polk, Louisiana. It is such a culture shock for me to move here after living in California my whole life. I have met a couple wives here, but no one that I can really talk to and confide in, so with saying that I have been EXTREMELY lonely lately. With Christmas coming up I am missing my family and friends back home like crazy. Christmas has always been a big thing with my family, my parents always have a real tree, decorate like crazy, and it's just a special time we spend together as a family. My husband's family however was not that into Christmas therefore, my husband is not every into Christmas so that makes me sad. For the most part it is just Rylie and I, Michael is gone before we wake up and doesn't get home until 5:30-6:30pm. I crave adult interaction! I crave having a "best" friend close, and I just don't know if that will happen. I have a couple "best" friends, one of which lives in Alabama with her husband who is in the Coast Guard and stationed there. They live about 6 hours away which isn't that far, but let's face it Military pay isn't that great and we haven't had the money to visit yet! All my other friends live in California, and I feel as though it's out of sight, out of mind. We talk pretty often, but nothing like when I lived in California.
So I know this was a jumbled mess of random thoughts, but pretty much...I'm kinda in a funk right now. I kinda feel how I felt when I first moved here. Really Lonely. Things will get better after Christmas though, I hope.

About Us!
Hi everyone! So I'm new to this whole blogging thing, but I know a lot of people that have them and I've heard it's a great outlet so I thought I'd give it a try!
My name is Jenna and I'm 20 years old. I'm married to a great man named Michael who is a soldier in the U.S. Army. We have a beautiful 17 month old daughter name Rylie she is our world. We are currently stationed at Fort Polk, LA, and we don't like very much at all. We have been married for almost 2 years already (crazy how time flies!). I am in school to be an elementary school teacher and most of my time is spent taking care of Rylie and doing school work! Well I don't know what else to write, but hopefully I can keep this thing updated with everything our little family is doing!!! :)
